Miss a free workout? Tired of heading to a crowded gym every morning? No worries- here are resources for helping you feel the burn at home.

  • Fitness Blender- Hands down, Fitness Blender offers some of the best workout videos out there, with high quality (and free!) tutorials ranging from HIIT and pilates to yoga and strength training. My favorite feature is its filters and search settings. Choose what equipment you have on hand, how long your want your workout to be, how many calories you want to burn, or which muscle groups you want to target.
  • Live Strong- Live Strong offers a variety of workouts for all different fitness levels. The workout movements are broken down into a slideshow with easy-to-read instructions. This website is great for discovering new moves and techniques.
  • Be Fit- From bootcamps to barre, tai chi to self defense, Be Fit has hundreds of videos and something for everyone. Pick a video and get your sweat on.
  • Travel WODs (PDF)- "WOD", in Crossfit speak, means workout of the day, and usually refers to high rep cardio movements. This pdf shows gives you lots of workouts you can do on the go with no weights or equipment required, except the occasional jumprope.

Running Programs
  • Galloway (Run, Walk, Run)- As you can see by the name, this running plan works walking into your plan and your time doesn't suffer because of it! According to Galloway  “Walk breaks will significantly speed up recovery because there is less damage to repair. The early walk breaks erase fatigue, and the later walk breaks will reduce or eliminate overuse muscle breakdown.”
  • Hal Higdon- Countless runners (including myself!) have used Hal’s programs, whether getting ready for their first race or their twentieth. The plans build endurance and taper properly to prepare you for a specific distance.
  • Zombies, Run!- This is a fun app that some swear by to keep them motivated! Thanks to the help of some undead heroes, the app will tell you to run when zombies are on your heels! Collect supplies along the way to build up your base.
  • Nike & Run Club App- Audio Guided Runs give you a voice inside your head that believes you can do it, then shows you how. Get personalized coaching, track your progress, and compete with friends.
